Our Last Day In Myrtle Beach - Cheeseburgers In Paradise

Our last day in Myrtle Beach was spent on the beach, shopping and in the water park.
After our fun beach morning, we went to Cheeseburger In Paradise, for a cheeseburger, in paradise. The Jimmy Buffet restaurant line offers gluten free menus. We went to Margaritiaville earlier in the week for the g-free nachos and lava cake and now a burger. WITH. A. BUN. AND. IT. WAS. GOOD.
Time to shop.
Meet Snappy (Cooper), Sunshine (Riley) and Rocky (Simon).

New Years Day - Barefoot Landing, Planet Hollywood, Mini Putt

We spent New Years Day relaxing, recovering, exploring Barefoot Landing, shopping, going to Planet Hollywood and playing mini putt.

Jason and I remember Barefoot Landing as being a really fun place to explore. We got there, spent lots of time being silly, then Simon says "when we going to go that fun pace you and dad talked about?"
We certainly had the silliness covered while we were there.
After Barefoot Landing we went to Planet Hollywood for the most disappointing nachos known to man.
Next stop, mini putt. What a blast!!!! Not sure what I enjoyed the most watching the kids mini putt, watching their victory dances or watching Cooper get five holes in one while he exclaimed "this is easy."

Water park

We spent time everyday in our hotels indoor water park. Usually we went down in the evening, after a full day of playing outside. I brought my camera down on one day to get a few pictures of the fun.

We had use of two water parks, one in each of the towers. There were 2 splash pads, a submarine, 4 water slides, 4 pools, as well as the all time favourite for our family, the lazy river.

ARRRRRRRR!!! Happy New Year

The next thing on our agenda for New Years Eve was to go see the Pirates Voyage dinner theatre.

Pirates Voyage is much like Medieval Times meets Cirque De Soule. It was a fantastic show, and highly recommended.
thea
There was a pre show and then the actual show. Pictures were not allowed in the dinner theatre, but, I may have tried to sneak a few.
We left the show with three pirate inspired kids.
After the Pirates Voyage, we headed back to the beach to watch the fireworks and to "run around and scream."
Just before midnight we went back up the condo to watch the ball drop, most importantly to Riley, watch Taylor Swift perform.
The scene at midnight....Riley the only survivor.
