May 24

You sure do realize how much your life has changed when you spend your May 24 weekend going swimming, to the park, getting jobs done around the house, and serving salad and veggie plates.

Long gone are the days when we would sneak into Skerkston, set up camp for the weekend and consume many, many beverages. The days when we would stay up all night or until we passed out around the fire are distant memories. Good memories, but, distant memories. There are so many funny stories from those weekends, many relationships formed. I witnessed some of the craziest things I have ever seen on these weekends, oh the fun we had.

Things now are different, much different, but some things remain...time with good friends, lots of laughs and sharing a few beverages. And, I wouldn't change this life for anything.

Thank you Kate, Pete, Bree, Izzy, Cachelle and Al for spending the weekend with us...and for all installing something before you left.

Easter

We started off our Easter long weekend with a cookie decorating, egg hunt, meeting the Easter Bunny and having our photos done with real bunnies in Cookstown.

Saturday morning we left for the cottage.

We decorated eggs,

Riley made our centre piece,

made cupcakes,

followed the Easter Bunnies trail,

found all the eggs outside

played games,

had a lot of outdoor fun,

and enjoyed the view.
