Santa Parade

We spent my birthday evening at the Barrie Santa Claus Parade. It was a fun night with our closest friends.

Movember

Flashdance

Riley's dance studio hosted an 80's week. Who knew my dance costumes from the 80's would come in handy.

Ho Ho Ho

We went to visit the big guy on Monday night. We wanted to ask him to send Jimmy our elf back to our house because the kids miss him. Santa assures us that he will be here this week.
Cant wait to see you Jimmy.

Friendship

Change is hard. Change can be scary, nerve wracking and stressful. Last year, moving to this house, moving jobs, moving the kids schools was all of the above. We don't regret it for a minute. We are so thankful to have found our slice of perfection. This perfection increased the day Riley met Brooke at school and we became friends with her family. A perfect friendship

Pumpkin Carving

To carve our pumpkins this year I gave the kids full control of their design. If you know me well, you know how hard that was for me. I gave them each a Sharpie with only one instruction, to draw lines where they want cut.
They were so happy with their finished products that they wouldn't put the pumpkins on our porch, they slept with them.
Pleased as punch, or should I say pleased as a pumpkin.

Halloween Night 2012

It was a very rainy Halloween Night. But, no amount of rain could keep us from our annual mice and ghost dinner with friends and trick or treating. Being the classy people we are, I cut holes in three large clear garbage bags so the kids could stay dry and have their costumes be seen. It worked incredibly well, I wish I had made one for myself too. Because of the cold and rain I only took a few photos with my phone.

Saying Goodbye

Sadly, Lucy Diamond Hubbard passed away last week. It was a devastating night for poor Riley. She was so sad, she loved that Hamster. She asked if she could plan her funeral. She made invitations, constructed a wooden cross, dug a hole in our backyard and wrote a 5 page eulogy for her. Heart Breaking.
Lucy is now in the sky with diamonds:).
