We spent the morning at Barrie's Winterfest. The warm temperature brought out every. single. person. in the city. The lines were long but there was fun to be had.

The helicopter was thrilling.

The rides were spinny.

The slides were fast.

On Friday our school had dress like your favourite movie star or character in a book day.

Meet Anne Shirley and Captain Jack.

We arrived at school to find Riley's teacher dressed as Anne too. You could imagine how thrilled Riley was. She thought it was the "best thing ever."

Chester

Last week was Simon's turn with Chester. Chester is a school project where he was to read with Chester and take Chester around with him and write about his adventures.

We kept Chester very busy.






At the end of the week Simon completed his page in the journal.

House

Things are moving a long quickly now!


We have windows and doors and plumbing!!!


We have picked out appliances and have given dimensions to the builder.


We have been going to meeting upon meeting about every little nitty gritty detail.
