Our Angel

Some photos of Cooper in his Baptismal gown. It is a family heirloom from Jason's side of the family.

Cooper's Baptism

Sunday our littlest man was Baptised. We are honoured that our good friends Kara and Paul Sadlon agreed to be his Godparents. Cooper was Baptised at St. Mary's Church by a Decan who was just ordanded 2 weeks ago, this was his first Baptism.

Listening intently...

Cooper was sound alseep in my arms until the water. He startled and made a little noise and looked at me with a look of what on earth is happening.

After the Baptism

After our time at the church we all came back to our house for lunch. Cooper went right down for his afternoon nap.

Riley, Simon and Devyn enjoyed some play time...

The adults enjoyed some drinks...

Lunch was served...

Company was enjoyed..

Cooper woke from his nap just in time for cake...

An attempt at a photo of all three of them...

Cooper's helpers opened his gifts...

And just like our parties in university....someone got naked....

Exhustion

This is how we all felt after a wonderful day on Sunday with Cooper's Baptism.

Ride in a convertable

Riley and Simon love "cars with no roofs." They are always asking us to go for a ride in one or for us to buy one. They got lucky on Sunday after Cooper's Baptism...Aunt Rosemary drove her "car with no roof' to the Baptism and offered to take them for a ride.

We drove around our little circle and they loved it. It was especially cute when they asked her to turn the music on. The next morning when I was getting Simon dressed he said "I sure hope we are going to buy our car with no roof now." One day....one day....

Jason's Birthday Celebration - Number 1

We had a little birthday celebration for Jason on Saturday evening with Nee Nee.

Blowing out the candles.

Opening gifts.

Thank you Nee Nee for all of his wonderful presents. You always know how to buy something special that we would never spend the money on ourselves. You also have a practical side....bye bye glass for rolling out the dough on pizza night...we now have a rolling pin:)

Happy Father's Day

We celebrated Father's day on Saturday morning as we had a very busy weekend ahead of us with Cooper's Baptism on Sunday. The kids gave Jason their homemade crafts.

Simon made him a shark.

Riley made him a bird.

Relaxing in their P.J.'s...the calm before the storm.

Riley and Simon also made Jason a tie that said Happy Father's Day on it. Simon brought it over to him and said "Happy Father's Day daddy. I think you are amazing." The tears flowed...for both of us.

Last day

Today was the kids last day at their Montessori school...sniff, sniff. It was Riley's last day of preschool ever.... bigger and louder sniff, sniff. I can not believe that my baby girl is going to junior kindergarten in the fall. Here they are ready to go to the final day.

Bath Seat

We tried Cooper in the bath seat the other day. He loved being able to sit up and reach for toys....I now remember that I hate it, how do you wash his unmentionables when he is sitting on them????
