Easter Weekend - Saturday

On Saturday we went on a little day trip.

We started on the covered bridge in Burks Falls. Riley and Jason checking out the waterfall.

We then went to our favourite little cafe for hot drinks and the best butter tart muffins.

After our time at the cafe we visited a place called "Screaming Heads." It is an art teachers old farm house which he has converted into a midevil castle. He has acres upon acres of land with hundreds of concrete sculptures. His house should be on HGTV's "Most Extreme Homes," it is amazing, complete with a two-headed fire breathing dragon. I'm sure these pictures do not do it justice. We had a great time roaming and admiring the art.

After rest time we headed outside to play. There is still a little bit of snow there and Riley and Simon gravitated to it. They tobogganed down the hill, threw snowballs and built a snowman family.

At dinner we were telling the kids how when they were little we used to give them sink baths at the cottage. They thought that was hillarious and decided they wanted to try it again...so we did:)

Cooper was happy hanging out with daddy in the evening.
