Great-Grandfather, Grandfather, Father, Husband, Friend, Teacher, Leader, Educator, Honour, Kindness, Loving, Gentle....and the list can go on and on when trying to describe G.G. 2. Sadly, G.G. 2 passed on Monday, August 31st at 6:00a.m.

On Saturday afternoon we received a call from Jason's mom telling us that G.G.2 was not well. Jason went to Toronto to be with him, his grandmother, mother, Aunt Rosemary and cousin Melissa. Over the next few days they sat at his bedside around the clock. The kids and I went down on Sunday evening to say our goodbyes.

We love you. We are thankful that you were in our lives and in our children's lives. We are more proud than ever to have Simon carry on your name. We will miss your stories, your kind face, your radiant smile, your tickle kisses and running down the hallway to give you big hugs.
