Christmas Vacation 2012 - Day One

We started our Christmas Vacation out at 7:00am, in our jammies, homemade scones in hand with the right frame of mind, it's about the journey. That statement rang true for our entire trip, and what a journey it was.

It was a long, but fun day of travel. We had a technology malfunction which lead us straight to Best Buy and a 60 minute wait at the boarder. Other then that, smooth sailing.

This is the paragraph where I brag about how amazing the kids were. They did not complain once. The were happy, corporative, and kept all bickering to a very minimum. They were all stars.

Our stop for the night was at a Country Inn, in West Virginia. Although the hotel served it's purpose for the one night, we wouldn't stay there again. After a good swim, a good sleep and a family self portrait we got back on the road.
