Christmas Vacation 2012 - Day Two

Another full day of driving with kids who were rock stars. Complete rock stars.

We embraced our "it's about the journey" motto in Virginia, when we were stuck for over two hours stopped on the hi-way. A tractor trailer over turned and we were at a dead stop. We, along with everyone else, got out of the car and played games up and down the middle of the hi-way.

Some nice truck driver even gave the boys his life collection of transport trading cards.

After about 10 hours of travel, we arrived to our hotel in Myrtle Beach. We rented a two bedroom, two bathroom, ocean front condo with an indoor water park.
