CELEBRATE ME!
Last week our kindergarten classes had a year end celebration. Celebrate Me! The two kindergarten classes (mine and Riley's) sang songs, recited poems, shared their memory books and had treats with their family members.
I was trying to wear my teacher hat and direct the concert, but I also needed to wear my mommy hat with Riley. Luckily, she had several supporters and was as happy as can be.
She sang her heart out. She was glowing. She was thrilled to have everyone there.
Great job Riley! You have so much to celebrate. We have so much to celebrate because of you.

Simon's Year End Trip
I had the opportunity to go with Simon as a parent volunteer on his year end trip. The students of Barrie Montessori and Private School ventured off to the Elmvale Zoo. I had four boys in my group and we walked...I mean, RAN through the zoo, looking at....I mean, YELLING at all the animals in true boy fashion.
It was Simon's first time on a school bus and he was SO excited.
Here are a few of the photos I got when Cooper and I could catch up to those boys.

Happy 5th Birthday Katie!
Our little friend Katie is turning five. We had the honour of spending Sunday with the Parker family celebrating this amazing little girl.
Two "Hawattian" (as Simon says) girls
Hope you made a good wish Katie
Christine innocently tries to fill the water pail. She stepped out of the "safe zone." Game On!!!!!

Happy Fathers Day!
We celebrated Fathers day a few days early as Jason is out of town for a few days. I packed a picnic and off we went to"our" beach to celebrate an amazing husband and father.
The evening started with a cheers.
We enjoyed our pizza picnic, fruit salad and chocolate cheese cake.
We showered Jason with gifts.
We played and played.
Chased birds.
And learned that Coop can drink from a glass.
Thank you Jason for being you. We love you and are so lucky to have such an amazing daddy in our lives.
