Our B.C. Adventure - Day Four

Day four in Whistler was yet another rainy and cloudy day. Cooper was a sleepy little guy and he crashed out in the Ergo carrier as soon as we got to the village.

Coop and I made the best of it and while Ryan was working we rode up the Whistler Gondola. Once at the top we admired the clouds and were thankful that we have been to Whistler several times before and know the beauty that was hiding behind those clouds.

We had some breakfast and jealously watched the skiers.

We then rode the Peak To Peak Gondola, or as Ryan calls it the Latte to Latte Gondola, across to Blackcomb. It was so cloudy we couldn't see anything but down. It was actually a little eeire watching the gondola come out from the clouds.

Once at Blackcomb we enjoyed another Latte.....we had to stay true to it's name.

We headed back over to Whistler and took the Gondola down. Cooper had his nose pressed to the glass almost the whole way down.

We did get a very small view of the village on the way down.

Ryan was able to take off from work early again so we had some more quality Uncle Ryan time. We also had the chance to talk to Hillary on the phone. Sadly, Hillary was not in B.C. while we visited because she snapped her ACL while skiing and returned to the US for surgery. She was having a lot of trouble recovering so she headed to their place in Costa Rica for a month of relaxing on the beach. I know, tough life.

We went out for dinner together then spent the evening with some friends Chris (Bern to you Welland readers) and Gloria.
